Mathias Metzger

Mathias Metzger is Bergos’ Chief of Staff Private Banking and is heading the team Investment Advisory. 

He is a Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA) and has 25+ years of professional banking experience. In 2016, he completed an Executive MBA at Kellogg Northwestern (Chicago) and WHU (Vallendar). He started his career in the treasury department of a large regional bank and worked as Institutional Sales for structured products and alternative investments at DZ before moving to the former Berenberg Bank (Switzerland) in 2008, which was transformed into Bergos AG in 2021. Since then, he has held various senior portfolio and investment-related positions, including Global Head Investment Advisory of the Berenberg Group with responsibilities for UK, Germany and Switzerland (2015-2016).
