WE ARE AN INDEPENDENT Swiss private bank

WITH HEADQUARTERS IN ZURICH AND A BRANCH IN GENEVA.
WE HAVE A CLEAR FOCUS: TO PROTECT AND GROW YOUR WEALTH.

We manage our clients’ assets and protect their wealth – holistically, for generations, beyond money. Our brand core expresses our conviction that the human matters. Only if we strive to comprehend our clients with all the facets of their live, set-up, surroundings, challenges, and goals, we can protect what’s of value to them.

We are an independent, internationally operating Swiss Private Bank.

We strive for excellence to create and protect what is of value to you, beyond money.

A REMARKABLE
LEGACY

Bergos emerged in 2021 with a new shareholder base from its former mother company, the Berenberg Group founded in 1590, and has been serving international private clients and entrepreneurs in the Swiss financial center for over thirty years. Its headquarters are in Zurich with an office in Geneva. The Swiss Private Bank is dedicated to “Human Private Banking” and specializes in wealth management and advisory services. With more than 130 employees, the focus is on providing expert guidance in all known liquid and non-liquid asset classes, as well as alternative investments and private markets. Following a “beyond money” approach, we also offer expertise in art collecting and philanthropy. For entrepreneurial clients, Bergos offers access to M&A and other corporate finance services. Bergos AG offers private clients, entrepreneurs and their families a holistic, cross-generational service that focuses on security, neutrality, internationality and openness to the world.

OWNED BY PEOPLE WHO SHAPE OUR APPROACH

Our owners are experienced entrepreneurs whose companies are among the most successful in Switzerland, Germany and the world. They know what excellence looks like and what a first class bank must offer its clients. We draw on this international network to optimize our strategies and to find the ideal solutions for you. Both our structure and culture are particularly entrepreneurial.

Our clients’ actual needs are often not monetary. They are rarely just “I want performance xyz”. They are often deeply human – security, independence, peace of mind, legacy, protecting family and business, and so on. Needs stem from goals, and goals are rarely as simple as “money”!
