Dr Peter Schmid*

Dr Peter Schmid has held prominent positions including 20 years with UBS, CEO of Merrill Lynch Bank (Suisse) in Geneva and Union Bancaire Privée (UBP) in Zurich. Throughout his career, he has led banks managing assets of up to CHF 120 billion and has overseen more than 1,000 employees across over two dozen locations worldwide. His accomplishments include successfully executed turnaround programs, M&A projects, and the integration of international financial institutions. He also possesses extensive board experience in various supervisory boards and foundations, for example UBS Germany, Deutsche Bank Luxembourg and Merrill Lynch Capital Markets.
